NKS Climate Action Fund
Communities’ Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Project

NKS, in partnership with ELREC, is running this project to encourage and support ethnic minority communities in Edinburgh to reduce waste, to increase reusing and repairing items rather than sending them to landfill and to move towards a more sustainable future.

Activities that you can take part in will include the following:

·      Clothing repairs and alterations sessions and sewing sessions

·      Leftover food cookery sessions

·      Weekly lunch clubs with hot food in a group setting

·      DIY upcycling workshops

·      Educational workshops with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh on composting and how to create a wormery

·      Educational visits to recycling centres

·      Swap shops

Please get in touch with us if you are interested in taking part.
